The kids may be out of school, but there’s lots to do at Pottery Alley! Join us in the air conditioning as we create artwork from scratch and get your child’s creative juices flowing. Our summer camps focus on having fun and learning how to make pottery using simple techniques.
Kids Sculpture Day Camp
Children will learn to construct things from coils and slabs, and by sculpting with simple tools and hands.Kids Wheel Day Camp
Children will learn to form pottery on the wheel.
Kids attend four days one week to create their masterpieces and return a few weeks later to glaze them. Once the pieces are glazed and fired, they will be bagged up and ready to go to their new place of pride in your home. Kids typically complete 5-8 projects per camp.
Registration for day camp is $150/child per session, and includes instruction, clay, glazes, and firing. A discount is available for multiple registrations for the same family. Summer camps are open to children ages 8-17 years of age, regardless of skill level. Students work at their own pace.
